This is an exceedingly rare malt. Having only operated from 1966 to 1975, Ladyburn only exists in liquid form, and in memories. The distillery was demolished, and the total number of barrels still aging remains a mystery. This is a classic lowland whisky. After 41 years in wood, a rich oaky note has developed to mingle with floral elements and dark stewed fruits, along with sweet undertones of vanilla blossom and caramel. The finish is persistent and pleasant with rich oak spice and dark stewed fruits lingering. Grab one before they’re gone forever.
