Grown in vineyards of the Loire valley, where the terroir is rich in small limestones known locally as caillottes.
Sancerre 'Les Caillottes' is made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown in vineyards of the upper reaches of the Loire valley in northern France. 'Les Caillottes' takes its name from a terroir rich in small limestones (known locally as 'cailoottes'). This is an elegant dry white wine, bright with the quintessential characteristics of sauvignon Blanc from this region: ripe citrus fruits and fresh, grassy aromas and flavors which finish with a refreshing zippiness.
