Clarity and order dominate the bright ruby red, amidst berries and pomegranate, violets and aromas of camphor, candied cherry and licorice in this "classic mix old-timers favored "equally divided between Serralunga d'Alba, Castiglione Falletto and Barolo, made "the way it was made before the fashion for single-vineyard wines took hold" in Antonio Galloni's words.
- Perfumes: Sharp, floral notes. Cherry in alcohol, star anise and raspberry hints.
- Taste: Fine and elegant body, neat tannins and long finish.
- Pairing: Fresh pasta dishes, grilled fish with sauces, lamb skewers, red and whit meats (Serving temperature: 16-17°C).
