Domaine Gaget Description
The Gaget Estate is a family estate now managed by Michael Gaget. It extends over the Côte du Py, the most famous terroirs of the Morgon cru, due to the nature of the soil which gives Morgon exceptional properties: Morgon can be kept for 5 to 10 years in the cellar. Domaine Gaget is not only known for its Morgon Côte du Py, it is also renowned for its Morgon Grand Cras. The family also produces Beaujolais in red and white. Our wines are the combination of soil, a climate and human labor.
Tasting Notes: A smooth and serious Beaujolais wine from the best terroir of Morgon, the volcanic Côte du Py! With dark cherries and violet notes on the nose, this is such a smooth and delightful wine on the palate, full of ripe fruits and fragrant herbal hints. So easy-drinking that you might need more than one bottle! 12.5% abv

"This ripe, perfumed wine from Mikaël Gaget and family has great tannins and rich black fruits. The wine's structure and fullness will develop further, giving density and smoothly textured black-cherry flavors. Drink the wine from 2021." — Roger Voss
