Chateau Louvie Description
80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc
Chateau Louvie is located in the district of Saint Laurent des Combes, on beautiful soils of clay and sand, on slopes and plateau. The estate belongs to Christian Veyry, who also owns Chateau Veyry in the Cotes de Castillon. A winegrower`s son, he is a talented wine-maker as well as a consultant oenologist.
The blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc creates a wine which has a soft and smooth mouthfeel with plenty of berry and plum fruits combined with woodland scents and a long savoury finish.
