Dargett Brewery Description
Bitter River Company is the owner of Dargett , the first craft brewery in Armenia, founded in 2016 and becoming the flagship and benchmark for the entire market. The company laid the foundation and formed the Armenian handicraft community. In 2018, Dargett Brewery launched a new initiative to create craft beers for the mass market. Today, the brewery offers over 20 handcrafted craft beers using high quality ingredients and the best brewing traditions. It gives visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the revolutionary beer subculture and taste the best traditional beers.
The inspiration for the "Dargett" logo was found on a Babylonian world map dating back to the 6th century BC. This map was an attempt to iconographically cover the entire surface of the Earth. In the center is Babylon, the "center of the universe." The earth is surrounded by a terrestrial ocean called the Bitter River. The Dargett beer label concept shows different parts of the Bitter River. The geographic location of river crossings is used to express the variety of beers and the map encapsulates the fullness of the beers ․ Each label has its own color and shape, different from each other. Each scent has its own color.
