Brix City Brewing Description
Throwback Classic is an 8% ABV West Coast style DIPA. For this new beer, we wanted to pay homage to the great American breweries that came before us! This beer is maltier and more bitter than one of our New England style IPAs. Brewed with classic Chico yeast and Dry Hopped with Simcoe Cryo, Nugget, and Columbus, this traditional West Coast style IPA will take you back to the days before the haze-craze… Pouring a dark copper hue, Throwback Classic has notes reminiscent of pungent orange zest, grapefruit juice, dank herbs, and fresh pine with a moderately bitter finish.
